Meet Andy / Film Maker & Advocate for True Independent Films
Andy Mingo is America's best known advocate for True Independent films. He gained recognition as several of his short films were lauded at national Film Festivals and screenings including The Northwest Film & Video Festival, the PDX Film Festival, and the Longbaugh Film Festival.
Former journalist and author of four feature-length screenplays and two corresponding published novels East Elko and Dead Mountain Echo (Chiasmus Press) his fiction pieces appear regularly in national publications including the award winning Black Ice.
Portland, Oregon based Andy Mingo is a film professor at Oregon's Clackamas College where he teaches pioneering techniques in digital film production.
